Regional Population Movement - Sudan Crisis MDRS1001

The ongoing conflict in Sudan has led to widespread displacement, with over 1,4 million people fleeing active conflict areas to find safety elsewhere in the country or across borders, primarily in Central African Republic, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Libya and South Sudan. The IFRC and its membership are seeking CHF 42 million to support the National Societies in those countries to respond and provide essential humanitarian assistance (CHF 33.5 million of which will be raised by the IFRC Secretariat).
